About Me

sleep consultant Switzerland

As a nursery nurse, kindergarten teacher, and proud mom to a beautiful little girl, I’ve spent over 14 years working with children. During that time, I’ve gained experience in so many areas, like introducing solid foods, potty training, supporting communication development, and encouraging movement skills. I’ve also worked closely with families, offering advice and support on all sorts of parenting challenges.

My journey into sleep consulting started during my teaching career, when I kept hearing parents talk about how hard sleep was for their kids. As a teacher, it seemed easier to spot patterns and solutions from the outside, but when I became a mom, I truly understood how exhausting and overwhelming it can feel. My daughter had so much trouble with sleep—she would only nap for 20 minutes during the day, and getting her to bed at night could take three hours. She’d finally fall asleep around 11 PM, only to wake up 10–12 times during the night. By 7 AM, she was awake for the day. The only thing that calmed her was breastfeeding, and I was completely drained.

I was so exhausted that I started dreading the evenings as soon as I woke up. I felt anxious all day, and even though everyone told me to “sleep when the baby sleeps,” I couldn’t put her down because she would only nap in my arms. Most days, I would doze off sitting up while the housework piled up around me. I felt trapped—there was so much to do, like cleaning and cooking, but I had zero energy. I even avoided going for walks because I was afraid I might faint from exhaustion and didn’t know what would happen to my baby if I did.

All of this also put a huge strain on my relationship with my husband. We barely spent any time together because one of us always had to be with the baby. Some nights, I would collapse into bed, and he’d stay up holding her. I’ll never forget waking up in the morning and finding them both asleep in the nursing chair, slumped over with their heads hanging down.

Getting help from a sleep consultant completely changed our lives. At first, my husband wasn’t sure it was worth the cost, but now he says it’s the best decision we ever made. This experience inspired me to become a sleep consultant myself, so I can help other parents tackle their challenges and find balance, rest, and happiness again.
